Leadership

Carmen D. Horst is associate pastor at James Street Mennonite Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She earned her MDiv at Eastern Mennonite Seminary.

Aaron Kauffman resides in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and serves as the Global Ministries Director at Virginia Mennonite Missions. He is married to Laura and they have three beautiful children, Abby, Sophie, and Asher. Aaron and Laura served jointly with Mennonite Mission Network and VMMissions in La Mesa, Colombia from 2005-2008. He is currently pursuing an MDiv at Eastern Mennonite Seminary.

Matthew Krabill currently lives in Pasadena, CA, and is a doctoral candidate at Fuller. He looks forward to the next four years of studying immigration, global Christianity and Anabaptist theology. He is convinced that Derrick Rose should be MVP and that Joel Shenk will be the Provost at EMU by the year 2023.

Joel Shenk graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary in June 2010 and accepted a call to pastoral ministry at Toledo Mennonite Church starting in October 2010. Prior to that, Joel had worked as the director for service and learning ministries at the Center for Anabaptist Leadership from 2005-2010. Joel and his wife Emiley have a young daughter, Roslyn.

Dave Stutzman works and lives in Los Angeles and is finishing up his MA in Intercultural Studies at Fuller Seminary. He and his wife, Rebekka, serve in youth ministry at Maranatha Christian Fellowship, Northridge, CA. They hope to return to Europe one day (where Rebekka is from) and continue in urban ministry among the growing multicultural population of German inner cities. Along with a candle light dinner and a long walk on the beach, Dave thinks a fun evening should involve talking about culture and the church in mission.
